Initial Consultation

During the initial consultation we will evaluate your needs to offer the right treatment plan for your teeth. If you are a good candidate, we will create a customized treatment plan to help align your teeth. If you wear bridgework or have special needs or other dental conditions, we may offer an alternative solution for your particular case.

Aligners and Treatments

Our dentists use a digital 3-D image technology to recommend the most appropriate treatment. We will discuss with you each state of the treatment, approximate length, and other details. Treatment usually takes about a year but this depends on many factors, including teeth alignment, jaw disorders, if any, and so on. During the next stage of the process you will get a series of aligners that are custom-made for your treatment plan. Invisalign aligners are made of high quality, BPA-free, smooth plastic and are comfortable to wear and won’t irritate your gums or cheeks. You can remove them at any time – when you floss and brush your teeth and when you eat, for example. It is best to wear your braces for 20 – 22 hours a day for visible results. If your aligners get cracked by any chance, contact us to make an appointment. If your aligners are cracked, this may make your teeth move back to their original position. We will create replacement aligners for you as soon as possible.

Taking Proper Care of Your Aligners

Make sure you take proper care of your aligners as well. The best way to do this is to use the special Invisalign Cleaning system and rinse, brush, and floss your teeth in lukewarm water. Never use hot water to clean your braces because this can cause damage and warping beyond repair. Brush your teeth after every meal to keep them clean. Make sure your aligners are sanitary and hygienic before you place them back in your mouth. This is especially important if you happen to drop them in an unsanitary place. Cleaning crystals are also used to remove plaque, and it takes just 15 – 20 minutes to clean them.

With each set of new aligners you will see how your teeth begin to align. And the best part is that nobody will even notice your braces.
