At Beglin Orthodontics, we proudly use the latest orthodontic technology, including 3D digital imaging. During your first clear aligners appointment, our team will take a series of digital images. These are used to create your aligners or trays, and will be automatically updated within our software to show our team – and you – exactly how your teeth will gradually move into proper alignment over the course of the treatment.
Once you receive your aligners, you will typically wear each set for 1-2 weeks before moving on to the next set in the series. Each set is designed to gradually move your teeth, and within a few months, your smile will look brand new.
It is very important to wear your aligners for a minimum of 22 hours every day to ensure a successful outcome. While the aligners offer a lot of flexibility so you can remove them for eating or special occasions, not wearing them for the specified time can jeopardize your desired result.
