Our Dental Assistants

Each of our dental assistants is highly-trained, responsive, and attentive. They keep our clinic stocked and organized, sterilize tools and equipment, maintain the highest levels of infection control, and set up the treatment areas for each patient’s procedure. They also take diagnostic records and images, provide chairside assistance to Dr. Beglin as he treats patients, and teach patients about oral health and dental hygiene.

Our assistants are always happy to respond to a patient or parent’s questions, glad to provide progress updates, and may assist with scheduling appointments. They are our patients’ cheerleaders, offering support and encouragement as the patients achieve their best smiles!

Maria

I like meeting new people and working with patients of all ages. It’s rewarding to be part of a patient’s journey to a more beautiful smile! I started in the field in 1986, attended National Education Center (formerly Bryman) in San Jose, CA, for dental assisting, and joined Beglin Orthodontics in 2005. In addition to assisting, I also order supplies, stock the operatory, and translate for our Spanish-speaking patients. Dr. Beglin has integrity, treating each patient with their best interest at heart, and that dedication is shared by our staff!

I enjoy spending my free time with my grandchildren and love attending and supporting their many sport-related activities.

Emelli

I am new to the field of dentistry; solely tackling the meticulous skills orthodontics requires day-by-day, has provided a stimulating environment for me to learn and excel, in this specialty branch of dentistry. I have welcomed the change of career with open arms, and I am eager to learn and grow each day at Beglin Orthodontics.

I have always loved meeting new individuals and I am immensely passionate about helping others. Our warm, welcoming team has an inviting spirit and is exceptionally compassionate while helping our patients achieve the smile of their dreams.

In my spare time, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, accompanied by my two wonderful dogs: my mini-dachshund Mia, and Apollo, my Corgi!

I like interacting with patients of all ages. I enjoy knowing I have made a difference in helping someone that may be feeling self-conscious about their teeth – to loving their smile.

I have worked in the dental field since 2008 and was welcomed to Beglin Orthodontics in 2022. Dr. Beglin is a great orthodontist. We have a great team here at Beglin Orthodontics. Each member of our team wants only the best for our patients and their beautiful smiles!

In my spare time, I enjoy all things outdoors.

Our Front Office

Our front office staff is talented, experienced, resourceful, and accommodating. They are here to help with scheduling appointments, coordinating treatment, and financial matters, including customized payment options and insurance verification, submission, and follow-up.

Along with Dr. Beglin and our clinical team, our front office team wants each person to feel welcome, informed, and supported throughout their orthodontic treatment. They are always available to answer questions, address concerns, and share a smile or five!

Paula

I enjoy meeting people and helping each achieve their goal of a beautiful smile! I have been in the field since 2000, starting as an orthodontic assistant. Over the years I have learned various positions in the office and became the Beglin Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator in 2005. I oversee new patient consultations, walking patients and parents through the initial process, reviewing treatment, and getting them started on the journey to a new smile!

Dr. Beglin and our team enjoy what we do and that makes coming to work a fun experience. We share a lot of laughs during the day, talking and joking with our patients, their families, and one another.

Beyond my work life, I am Mother to two grown children and Grammy to four adorable grandchildren. I’m very family-oriented and love spending time with my kids and grandkids. I also love animals and have two cats and two granddoggies. I like to read, listen to country music, and watch movies in my spare time.

Chris

I’ve been in the orthodontic field at the front desk since August 1989. I joined the team of Beglin Orthodontics in October 2017. After retiring in October 2022, I realized how much I missed working with and for Dr Beglin’s practice and the patients I came in contact with. So I’m back part time, greeting patients and assisting the office, helping the team bring beautiful smiles to our patients.

My personal life includes my husband of 33+ years, my grown daughter and her family, including 2 darling granddaughters. And of course good friends, traveling camping, hiking and overall enjoying each day as we are blessed to have.
